The CN tower | La tour CN

We may discuss whether Toronto is the most cosmopolitan city or not (see the previous post), but anyone may hardly argue that the CN tower is currently the second tallest "free-standing structure on land" in the world:)

I haven't been on the top yet, still waiting for a perfect weather to see the Europe:)

Few interesting facts
- the CN tower is 553m high
- the construction was finished in 1976
- until 12th Sep 2007 it was the tallest structure in the world... then a sky scraper Burj Dubai (still in construction) took the lead:)

At night it is always illuminated. As I've observed so far, the colors change from time to time. Here you can see a greenish shade, but I've already seen red and white too.
